Snap Repairs is a local, owner-run appliance repair business covering Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and the wider Illawarra & Shoalhaven. Run by Tyson, with more than 10 years on the tools, we repair washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and fridges from every major brand — and as a manufacturer-authorised repairer for Fisher & Paykel, Haier and Asko, we work to their specifications with genuine parts.
We started Snap Repairs to do appliance repairs the way they should be done: turn up when we say we will, diagnose the real fault rather than guessing, and give you a straight answer on whether something’s worth fixing. Because we’re fully mobile, we come to you across the region — usually within the same week, and often the same day.
You’ll always know the cost before we start. Our call-out is $100 close in across the Illawarra (or $150 further out), covering travel and inspection, plus a flat $50 on-the-spot labour fee if we can fix it there and then. If parts are needed we quote first and credit the $50 toward the repair — with no overtime or after-hours surcharges.
We’re fully insured (ABN 44 669 066 924), our technicians are trained directly by the manufacturers whose appliances we service, and we hold authorised service contracts with several major brands.
