Will you be able to fix my problem?
Almost always, yes. We repair washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and fridges from every major brand, and with more than 10 years on the tools across the Illawarra we’ve seen just about every fault. We diagnose the real problem and fix most of them on the spot — and if something genuinely isn’t worth repairing, we’ll tell you honestly.

Do you support my appliance?
We service all the major brands — Bosch, Samsung, LG, Miele, Electrolux, Westinghouse and more — using genuine or genuine-grade parts. Snap Repairs is a manufacturer-authorised repairer for Fisher & Paykel, Haier and Asko specifically, which means genuine parts and manufacturer-standard repairs on those three brands. Do you repair ovens or cooktops?
No. We specialise in washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and fridges, and we don’t repair ovens, cooktops, rangehoods, microwaves or air conditioners. Sticking to the four appliances we know best is why we can usually fix them on the spot.
What payments do you accept?
We accept card and cash, and our technicians take payment on the spot once the job’s done — no invoices to chase and no bank-transfer hassle. You pay when the work is finished, and because we quote before any parts work goes ahead, the amount is never a surprise.
Will you come to me?
Yes — we’re fully mobile and come to you right across Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and the wider Illawarra & Shoalhaven. We’ll book you the earliest slot we’ve got: most jobs we’re there within the week, and often within a couple of days. Wherever we can, we fix it on the spot.
Will I be surprised by the bill?
No — our pricing is upfront. The call-out is $100 for jobs close in across the Illawarra, or $150 further out, covering travel and inspecting your machine. If we can fix it on the spot without parts there’s a flat $50 per-machine labour fee. If parts are needed we quote you first and credit that $50 toward the repair — with no overtime or after-hours surcharges.
How long will it take to fix my appliance?
Most repairs are done in a single visit — we carry the parts that fail most often, so a typical fault is usually sorted on the spot. If your model needs a less common part ordered in, we’ll quote you first and book a quick return as soon as it arrives.
Do you have a warranty?
Yes. We back our labour with a 12-month warranty and parts with a 3-month warranty. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the warranty period, we’ll come back and put it right at no charge.
