Washing Machine repairs you can trust
When your washing machine stops mid-cycle, won't drain, or leaves your clothes soaking wet, it usually comes down to a handful of common faults, and most are fixable in a single visit. We repair top and front loaders from every major brand across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, and because we can usually diagnose and fix the fault on-site, most jobs are done in a single visit.
Common washing machine faults we fix
- Won't drain or spin — Usually a blocked pump filter, jammed drain pump, or a coin or underwire caught in the outlet. We clear it and test the full cycle.
- Leaking water — Perished door seals, split hoses, or a cracked detergent-drawer housing. We find the source rather than just mopping it up.
- Loud banging on spin — Worn drum bearings or failed shock absorbers. On older machines we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth repairing.
- Not filling or throwing error codes — Faulty inlet valves, pressure sensors, or control-board faults. We read the code and diagnose the real cause.
- Door won't unlock — A failed door interlock or a drainage fault keeping the machine locked. We release it and replace the faulty part.
What to expect from a washing machine repair
How we diagnose it
We start with the symptom and the error code if there is one, then work through the usual suspects in order: the pump filter and drain path, the door lock, the inlet valves and pressure system, and the drum bearings. Reading the fault properly on site means we fix the real cause, not just the part that looks worn.
On the day
Most washing-machine repairs are done in the one visit — we can usually fix the fault on-site, and we carry a range of the parts that fail most often. If your model needs a part we don't have with us, we quote it first to make sure the repair is worth it, then order it in and book a quick return.
Repair or replace?
A washing machine is usually worth repairing if it is under about eight years old and the fault is a pump, valve, seal or belt. Where it is an older machine facing major bearing or drum work, we tell you honestly what it will cost against a replacement so you can decide, with no pressure either way.

Frequently asked questions
Do you repair both front and top loaders?
Yes, we service front loaders and top loaders from all the major brands, including Bosch, LG, Samsung, Fisher and Paykel, Electrolux and Miele.
Is it worth repairing an old washing machine?
Often, yes, but not always. If the repair costs a big chunk of a replacement on a machine near the end of its life, we'll tell you straight so you're not throwing money at it.
My machine shows an error code. Can you help over the phone?
We can often point you in the right direction, but codes mean different things across brands and models. We confirm the real fault on site before quoting the repair.
How much does a washing machine repair cost?
Our call-out fee is $100 for jobs close in across the Illawarra, or $150 for further out, and it covers travel and inspecting your machine. If we can fix it on the spot without parts, there's a flat $50 labour fee per machine. If parts are needed we quote you first, and that $50 is credited toward the total repair — no overtime or after-hours surcharges.
How long does a washing machine repair take?
Most repairs are done in a single visit — we can usually fix the fault on-site, either without new parts or with the common parts we carry. If your model needs a part we don't have on hand, we quote it first so you know it's worth doing, then order it in and book a quick return.
