Snap Repairs is a mobile appliance repair service, so every repair happens at your home across Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and the wider Illawarra & Shoalhaven. We deliberately stick to the four appliances we know inside out: washing machines (front and top loaders that won’t drain, spin, fill or unlock), dryers (vented, condenser and heat-pump machines that run cold, take forever or make a racket), dishwashers (not draining, not cleaning, leaking, or stuck on an error code) and fridges and freezers (not cooling, icing up, leaking or noisy). We don’t touch ovens, cooktops, rangehoods, microwaves or air conditioning, and that focus is why so many faults are sorted in a single visit.
Every visit starts with a $129 diagnostic ($169 further out) that covers the trip and finding the real fault. You then hear the exact repair price before any work starts. If you go ahead, the diagnostic is the first line of your repair price: you’ve already paid it, so you only pay the balance. You never pay it twice. If a part has to be ordered, we quote you first. There’s no second call-out fee, and the $129 you’ve already paid counts toward your total. Every repair is backed by our 12-month labour warranty (3 months on parts). As a manufacturer-authorised repairer for Fisher & Paykel, Haier and Asko we fit genuine parts, and we service every other major brand with genuine or genuine-grade parts.
