Common Bosch faults we see
- Dishwasher E15 and water in the base tray — Bosch dishwashers have an Aquastop anti-flood system with a float switch in the base tray. When water collects there it trips and shows E15, and the machine won’t run. It usually traces back to a small leak, a perished seal or a slow drip we find and fix rather than just resetting.
- Dishwasher not draining or filling — Drain-pump faults, blocked filters and inlet or Aquastop valve issues are the common water-path faults. The filter and non-return valve are easy to overlook, and we clear and test the full cycle before quoting anything bigger.
- Washing machine drain-pump and filter faults — Bosch front loaders will stop mid-cycle or fail to drain when the pump filter clogs with coins, lint or hair, or when the drain pump itself fails. It’s one of the most common Bosch washer faults and often a same-visit fix.
- Washing machine bearing and shock-absorber wear — Higher-hour Bosch washers can develop drum-bearing wear that shows as loud spinning, plus tired shock absorbers that let the drum knock. On older machines we’ll tell you honestly whether the bearing job is worth it against the machine’s age.
- Heat-pump dryer losing performance — Bosch condenser and heat-pump dryers slow down and leave loads damp as the condenser clogs and the sensors drift. Cleaning the condenser and testing the sensors usually restores drying times without major parts.

What does E15 mean on my Bosch dishwasher?
It’s the Aquastop anti-flood system tripping because water has collected in the base tray. It nearly always points to a small leak or a failed seal, which we can trace and repair rather than just clearing the code.
